Parenting Parental Guidance
GrowagroupThe National Childbirth Trust is one of the largest parenting charities in Europe. They know that being a parent can be hard work, and that it helps to have other people to talk to about the ups and downs of parenthood. Being a parent in the armed forces can be even more difficult and mums and dads need to have an opportunity to socialise with others and have fun as well as to talk about some of the difficulties they face. The National Childbirth Trust have a free resource that they thought that you might be interested in. Lots of organisations run groups for parents with babies or toddlers and sometimes parents want to set up their own informal local groups. It is thought that it might be helpful to develop a guide with some simple advice about how to set up a group, or invigorate a group that already exists. The guide is for parents or organisations working with parents who might want to set up any type of informal local group.
