Pre-school Learning Alliance
(PLA) can provide a great deal of assistance in navigating the regulational framework for pre-school groups, locating sources of funding, providing specialist insurance and access to nationally recognised training for staff.
- It is strongly recommended that all RAF pre-school groups become members of the PLA and liaise with their local group.
- Voluntary accreditation with the PLA establishes the quality of the pre-school group as reassurance for parents.
- Accreditation also provides very useful preparation for Ofsted inspection.
